KGM Service Plans

Regular maintenance is a major factor in prolonged vehicle life, sustained performance and trouble-free motoring. To help in achieving this, KGM has developed a plan of inspection and service operations to be carried out at given intervals.

It is very important that your vehicle is serviced at correct intervals. The 12 month (10,000/12,500 miles) service is carried out at intervals of not more than 12 months, even on low mileage vehicles. If your vehicle only does a low annual mileage, for example less than 3,000 miles, you must have a service carried out every 12 months. This is because the condition of your engine oil and other fluids will deteriorate if you use your KGM for short journeys or infrequently. Other service items are dependent on time and not just mileage covered.

You can find your service intervals in your KGM Service record provided with your KGM or by checking with your nearest KGM Authorised Repairer.

Periodically, as the time and mileage increase, your KGM Authorised Repairer will automatically undertake the additional work shown in the schedule.

It is strongly recommended that the maintenance services are performed by a KGM Authorised Repairer who will have trained technicians and genuine parts with which to maintain your vehicle properly.

Inadequate, incomplete, or insufficient servicing may result in operational problems with your vehicle. This could lead to vehicle damage, an accident or personal injury and probably most noteworthy, could jeopardize the warranty cover. Please ensure you have you car serviced at the correct intervals. Taking a KGM Service Plan will give you peace of mind as well as enabling you to spread the cost.

Hereford Motor Group Limited is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Hereford Motor Group Limited to act as a credit broker, not as a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes Shogun Finance. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to Shogun Finance, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to be make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and Shogun Finance also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
